About Dave Kaminsky
I'm a found-object sculptor, designer, and illustrator born in the Soviet Union, but raised in the US of A. I studied art & graphic design in North Carolina, where I now call home. My sculpture work fuses techniques from all mediums, it's intimate, emotional and whimsical. The emphasis is always on texture, craft, and form. I want to make sure my work is saturated with memory and emotion. My illustrations are mostly digital, using a tablet, and include surreal themes of whimsy, horror and personal struggles.
